Regional Excellence

The 'Regional Excellence' award recognises the achievements of an NSWIS Sport or NSWIS partnered program that has provided quality training opportunities and has contributed to improved performance of regional athletes. To be eligible the NSWIS program must meet the following criteria:

1. Have a regional/network/home coach/es affiliated with the nominated program
2. Have achieved excellent performance results and/or athlete performances that have improved throughout the year
3. Have identified links with the relevant State Sporting Organisation and Regional Academies of Sport where appropriate
4. Any relevant additional information including the activities undertaken by the NSWIS sport or NSWIS partnered program that uphold the values and objectives of the NSWIS.
